CTC Agro announces launch of Tecto 500

30% of bananas are lost due to rot during the export process, an alarming figure given the competitiveness of the international horticulture market. 

Through its partnership with Syngenta, CTC Agro hosted a launching event for its flagship banana anti-rotting product, Tecto 500. Tecto is applied to the fruit post harvest to protect from fungal infections responsible for rotting. The introduction is set to stabilize banana supply chains allowing a rich exports market and consequently more encouraged local production.
